
Loudoun United FC will play their third match of the 2022 United Soccer League (USL) Regular Season against Miami FC on Saturday, March 26 at 7 p.m. ET at FIU Stadium. This will be the Red-and-White’s second away game of the season.
Loudoun United come off a massive 3-0 win against New York Red Bulls II on March 19. Tyler Freeman came off the bench and recorded a brace early into the second half with assists from Michael Gamble and Jeremy Garay. Jacob Greene scored his second professional goal in the 76th minute from an assist by Houssou Landry. This is the first time Loudoun United has ever had back-to-back wins in the first two matches of a season, marking it the best start in Loudoun United history.

Miami FC started their third season of USL Championship play with their season opener against New York Red Bulls II. Miami FC defeated New York Red Bulls II 2-0, with goals from Josh Perez and Mark Segbers. Following their home opener, Miami FC traveled to Lynn Family Stadium to face Louisville City FC. Miami FC fell to Louisville City 0-2 on Saturday, March 19. The only change in the Starting XI was goalkeeper Jack McGuire, who made his Miami debut, replacing Connor Sparrow due to injury. Speedy Williams and Lamar Walker have been called up to the Jamaican National Team and are set to miss this weekend’s match up.

Saturday will be the fifth time these two teams face each other in the USL Championship Regular Season, with Miami leading the head-to-head with an all-time record of 3-1-0. The last time they met the Red-and-White won 3-2 at Segra Field on Oct. 10, 2021.
