ANTHONY LIMBRICK – Head Coach
Anthony Limbrick is the Head Coach of Loudoun United FC, bringing a strong track record across professional first-team leadership, elite academy development, and international competition.
Limbrick began his coaching career in England and held youth development roles with Boreham Wood and Southampton, working within high-level environments alongside first-team managers including Mauricio Pochettino and Ronald Koeman. He later contributed to national team and academy programs, including roles with the England U-17 setup and West Ham United’s academy.
At the professional level, Limbrick managed Woking FC and led the club to the FA Cup Second Round, highlighted by an upset win over EFL side Bury. He later served on the coaching staff at Grimsby Town before taking charge of The New Saints in the Cymru Premier, where he guided the club to a league championship and Welsh Cup title, while also competing in UEFA Europa Conference League qualifying.
Prior to joining Loudoun United, Limbrick worked with Peterborough United as Head of Academy Professional Development Phase Coach and later served on the coaching staff at Hartlepool United before stepping into the manager role in 2025. He arrives in Loudoun County with a proven ability to build high-performance cultures and develop players within competitive professional environments.

ALEN MARCINA – SPORTING DIRECTOR
Alen Marcina is the Sporting Director of Loudoun United FC, bringing over a decade of experience as a professional head coach, technical leader, and sporting executive across the USL Championship, NASL, and elite player development environments.
He has led teams to professional championship titles as a head coach in both the NASL and the USL Championship, reflecting a proven ability to build winning teams, establish high-performance cultures, and sustain competitive success over time.
Marcina is widely recognized for building clear, identity-driven soccer programs that align on-field principles with long-term sporting strategy, modern recruitment models, and organizational cohesion. His leadership has consistently supported player advancement, roster value creation, and competitive stability, while aligning pathways with today’s MLS and USL development ecosystems.
He holds the U.S. Soccer Pro License, the U.S. Soccer Technical Leadership License, and has completed a Sporting Directorship program. Marcina brings a forward-thinking, values-driven approach to Loudoun United’s next phase as an identity-led, player-centered, and future-focused club within the USL Championship.
