The match opened with LUFC on the front foot with Fletcher scored in the 37’ minute for the Red-and-White. The 17-year-old took six touches to drive 30 yards up the field and thunderously blasted the ball into the back of the net after a back-heeled pass from Tyler Freeman, who recorded his first assist of the season.

Loudoun United currently sits in 11th place with 21 points.
Hear from Head Coach Ryan Martin
“We are excited for a quick turnaround to Memphis to get back out and compete with a top team. We look to improve our defensive structure and intensity as well as our decision-making and execution in the final third. It’s important for our young guys to find consistency in their quality from game to game. That is something we have challenged them to do. Our focus continues to be on ourselves and our journey as a team. It will be a tough challenge, but we look at it as another great opportunity.”
