Following Sunday’s home opener, the Red-and-White are back on the road to face FC Tulsa. United continue to make noise in the USL Championship, rising in the power rankings and landing Team of the Week recognitions.
Following his stalwart defensive performance, Gaoussou Samaké was named to the USL Championship Team of the Week Bench for Week 2.
Forward Zach Ryan found himself on the scoresheet yet again, putting Loudoun United in front against San Antonio. Panos Armenakas recorded his first assist of the season.
Goalkeeper Dane Jacomen started his first match of the USL Championship season, recording six saves. Forward Zach Ryan received a red card in the 90+1’ minute and will serve his one match suspension against FC Tulsa.
