LEESBURG, VA. (August 14, 2024)- Free tickets for youth, a food truck festival with 15 vendors, and a throwback night to the 80’s and 90’s highlight new promotions for the final five home matches of the Loudoun United season.
On Saturday, August 24, the club hosts a one-of-a-kind Food Truck Fest presented by Hanley Energy. Fifteen food trucks will showcase the best food truck meals, snacks, and desserts across the DMV! Amongst others, trucks in attendance include Funnel Cake Cafe, Skrimp Shack, What The Schnitzel, Poppin Loco, Neko Kitchen, and 2 Cousins Cookin.
In partnership with Tap Truck Blue Ridge, the match will also feature five local draft beer selections for the first time at a Loudoun United match. The newly added tap truck will be situated between two large party tents and lounge furniture to keep fans cool. Gates open at 6:15 p.m. for the match against Rhode Island FC. The Saturday, August 31 match against Phoenix Rising at 7:15 p.m. is Hometown Heroes Night featuring ticket discounts for first responders, active and retired military, government employees, and healthcare workers. Enjoy a Touch-A-Truck on the concourse with appearances from fire trucks, police cars, and EMS vehicles from across Loudoun County.
Be sure to arrive early, as Loudoun United will pay tribute to the inaugural Hometown Hero of the Year at halftime. The match will feature Youth Jersey Night, and all kids 14 years of age and younger who wear a sports jersey will be granted free entry! Marvel Night caps off the evening’s promotions, headlined by multiple superhero appearances on the concourse and a Loudoun United Marvel poster giveaway to the first 1,000 fans. We’re taking it back to the ‘80s and ‘90s on Saturday, September 14th for Throwback Night, presented by Segra! Kickoff is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. for the match versus Birmingham Legion FC. The first 500 fans through the gates will receive an exclusive reversible retro bucket hat, featuring a colorful design on one side and a design for everyday wear on the opposite. Experience food offerings at concessions areas, like Lunchables and Dunakroos to bring back your childhood nastalgia. Two dollar beers will make their return to Segra Field on October 8 for the match against Indy Eleven, with kickoff being set for 6:45 p.m. and gates opening at 5:45 p.m. Fans can enjoy $2 Miller Lite and Coors Light while supplies last.
