Loudoun United Football Club signs defender Joshua Erlandson to a 25-day contract.
Leesburg, VA (April 4th, 2025) – Loudoun United Football Club signs defender Joshua Erlandson to a 25-day contract, pending league and federation approval.
Joshua Erlandson, younger brother to Loudoun United defender Jacob Erlandson, joins the Red-and-White following a strong preseason trial. Erlandson, like his older brother, played at both Huntington University and Bowling Green University (BGU). During the 2022 season, he helped BGU record the fewest goals against per game (0.63) while starting all 20 matches. During the 2024 season, he led the team in minutes played and tallied six goals and two assists throughout his college career.
Erlandson was named to the Academic All-District Team twice (2022, 2024), made the MVC Scholar-Athlete Second team (2024), and was named to the Academic All-MAC Team (2022).
