Loudoun United Football Club signs goalkeeper Lorenzo Herrera-Rauda to an academy contract
Leesburg, VA (June 20th, 2025) – Loudoun United Football Club signs goalkeeper Lorenzo Herrera-Rauda to an academy contract through the 2025 season, pending league and federation approval.
Herrera-Rauda was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia, and grew up playing for the Alexandria Soccer Association. Most recently, the 18-year-old goalkeeper played with National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) side Virginia Dream FC. The Red-and-White hosted Virginia Dream FC in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup earlier this season.
