
Loudoun United Football Club transfers forward Wesley Leggett to Charleston Battery
Leesburg, VA (September 11th, 2025) – Loudoun United Football Club has transferred forward Wesley Leggett to fellow Eastern Conference USL Championship club Charleston Battery in exchange for a 2026 International Roster Slot as part of the deal.

Leggett made his debut on March 11th, 2023, against Memphis 901 FC in a 3-1 win, and received Legacy Number 119. Leggett went on to make 90 total appearances across all competitions for Loudoun United FC. Through his three seasons with the Red-and-White, Leggett tallied a total of 17 goals and eight assists in those 90 total appearances. In his 2024 breakout season, the 24-year-old forward bagged 10 goals and four assists for Loudoun United. His first career professional goal for the club came against North Carolina FC in the 2023 U.S. Open Cup at Segra Field.
Leggett ranks third all-time in both appearances (90) and goals (17) for Loudoun United FC, as well as sixth all-time in assists for the club with eight.
