Loudoun United got off to a strong start and opened the scoring in the 18th minute when a trialist found the back of the net to give the Red-and-White an early advantage. Loudoun doubled the lead in the 28th minute, as another trialist capitalized on sustained pressure to make it 2-0.

Richmond answered with a goal to cut into the deficit, but Loudoun remained organized and composed throughout the remainder of the match. Leesburg, VA. (February 5, 2026) — Loudoun United FC announce that the club has acquired goalkeeper Adam Beaudry on loan from the Colorado Rapids for the 2026 season, pending league and federation approval.

Beaudry joins Loudoun United FC after developing within the Colorado Rapids Academy system and gaining professional experience at both the MLS and USL Championship levels.

“I’m really excited to get started here,” said Adam Beaudry, “I’m ready to put in the work and can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together this year.”

A standout product of the Rapids Academy, Beaudry joined the Colorado Rapids youth setup in 2022 after previously competing in the Real Colorado academy. He continued his progression through the Rapids system and signed a Homegrown Player contract ahead of the 2024 season, earning opportunities with the first team while continuing to gain consistent minutes at the professional level.

“Adam is a young goalkeeper with considerable talent and strong long-term potential joining us at Loudoun United FC,” said Anthony Limbrick, Head Coach for Loudoun United FC. “His recent international experience with the USA, where he featured in every match at the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup, represents an important stage in his development. Beaudry saw extensive action with Colorado Rapids 2, making 33 appearances across the past two seasons. In 2023, he was named MLS Next Pro Goalkeeper of the Month in both May and July. At the MLS level, Beaudry made his debut with the Rapids in 2024, playing a full 90 minutes in his first appearance in 2025.

During the 2025 season, Beaudry gained further experience on loan with Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC in the USL Championship, where he made multiple appearances and continued his development in a competitive professional environment.

On the international stage, Beaudry has featured prominently for the United States Youth National teams, representing the U.S. at the U-17, U-19, and U-20 levels. He started at the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup, helping lead the U.S. to the Round of 16, and played a key role during the team’s run to the final of the CONCACAF U-17 Championship. In 2025, Beaudry was the U.S. U-20 number one during the World Cup in Chile where he started in all five games as they reached the quarter-finals.

Leesburg, VA. (February 4, 2026) — Loudoun United FC announce the club has acquired midfielder Sean Young via transfer from Pacific FC for an undisclosed fee and signed him to a two-year contract through the 2027 USL Championship season. The transaction is pending league and federation approval.

Young, 24, joins Loudoun United FC after spending the past six seasons at Pacific FC in the Canadian Premier League. A native of Victoria, British Columbia, Young made more than 150 appearances for the club across all competitions and played a key role in Pacific’s run to the Canadian Premier League title in 2021.

“I’m extremely excited and grateful to be joining the club,” said Sean Young. “I’m here to work my hardest and committed to improving every day. I will do everything I can to help this team be successful. See you all very soon at Segra Field.”

Young began his soccer journey in Canada, playing youth soccer with Bays United FC before joining the Vancouver Island Wave, where he won a U16 provincial title in 2017. He continued his rise through the Vancouver Island soccer system, spending time with the Victoria Highlanders reserves in the Pacific Coast Soccer League, and later competing at the senior amateur level with Westcastle United, helping the club win the 2019 Jackson cup, the first championship in the club’s history.

“Sean is a combative and versatile midfielder with strong positional awareness,” said Anthony Limbrick, Head Coach of Loudoun United FC. “He brings significant experience, having made close to 150 appearances in the Canadian Premier League. His attitude and determination, both on and off the pitch, will be a positive addition to the environment at Loudoun United FC.”

In 2019, Young joined the Victoria Highlanders FC first team in USL League Two, making 12 appearances and scoring against Portland Timbers U23s. Young signed his first professional contract with Pacific FC in July 2020, becoming the first local player to sign with the club. He made his professional debut in 2020, making nine appearances and logging 462 minutes in the abbreviated season.

In May 2023, Young was named Canadian Premier League Player of the Month. In April 2024, he became the first player in club history to reach 100 appearances across all competitions, marking the milestone with a goal against Valour FC.

Leesburg, VA. (February 2, 2026) — Loudoun United FC announce that the club has acquired midfielder Jack Panayotou on loan from New England Revolution through the 2026 season, pending league and federation approval.

Panayotou, 21, joins Loudoun United FC after loan spells with Rhode Island and Hartford Athletic in the USL Championship. During his loan in 2024 with Rhode Island, he helped the team to the USL Championship final before they lost at Colorado Switchbacks. He followed this by joining Hartford Athletics in 2025, where he assisted the team in winning the USL Cup and reaching the Eastern Conference Play-Offs.

“I’m excited for this new chapter and thankful for the opportunity to be here,” said Jack Panayotou. “I’m ready to work hard, grow every day, and do whatever I can to help this team succeed.”

Panayotou developed within the New England Revolution Academy and has represented the United States at a youth international level, including recently in the U-23 National Team. He was a member of the Revolution Academy U-19 team that won the 2022 MLS NEXT Cup Championship, scoring six goals during the tournament, including the game-winning goal in the championship match. He was also named the 2022 UnitedHealthcare Revolution Academy Player of the Year.

Following his time in the Academy system, Panayotou played one season at Georgetown University, recording seven goals and three assists across 19 matches.

Panayotou began his professional career with New England Revolution II, making his debut in 2022. He earned his first-team debut for the New England Revolution in 2023 against D.C. United, and later scored his first MLS goal during the 2024 Leagues Cup group stage against Mazatlán F.C.

Leesburg, VA. (January 31, 2026) — Loudoun United FC announce that the club has signed midfielder Andrés Souper to a one-year contract, pending league and federation approval.

Souper, 26, joins the Red-and-White after developing professionally in Chile, most recently playing for Club de Deportes Antofagasta. Souper began his career with Club Deportivo Universidad Católica before gaining professional experience on loan with Club de Deportes Valdivia and Club de Deportes Puerto Montt in Chile. At the international level, he has also represented Chile as a member of the Chile U-23 National Team.

“I am really happy to be apart of Loudoun United, it’s a big opportunity and I am ready for the challenge.” said Andrés Souper. “I hope I can help the team win and have some fun with our fans.”

Ahead of the 2020 season, Souper joined Deportes Antofagasta on loan from Universidad Católica. He returned to Universidad Católica following the completion of his loan spell in 2020, before signing permanently with Deportes Antofagasta in 2021. In 2023, Souper spent time on loan with Club Deportivo Magallanes, where he made seven league appearances in Chile’s Liga de Primera and featured once in the CONMEBOL Sudamericana, gaining valuable experience at both the domestic and continental levels.

“We are delighted to welcome Andrés to the club. He is a highly technical, creative midfielder who possesses the vision and passing range to unlock defenses in the final third. Chester, PA (January 30, 2026) – Loudoun United FC opened its preseason schedule with a 2-2 draw against Philadelphia Union II, showing resilience with a strong second half response after an early deficit.

Match Summary
Philadelphia Union II jumped out to an early lead, scoring twice within the opening 12 minutes to take a 2-0 advantage following goals in the 6th and 12th minutes. Loudoun United settled into the match as the first half progressed, working to regain control and create opportunities going forward, but the hosts maintained their two-goal lead heading into halftime.

The Red-and-White emerged from the break with renewed energy and momentum. Loudoun found its breakthrough in the 63rd minute when a player to be announced pulled a goal back to cut the deficit in half. Just two minutes later, Bolu Akinyode brought Loudoun level, capitalizing in the 65th minute to make it 2-2.

Both sides pushed for a winner in the closing stages of the match, but the scoreline remained unchanged as Loudoun United closed out its preseason opener with an encouraging second-half performance.
