Leesburg, VA. (February 10, 2026) — Loudoun United FC will host upcoming identification sessions open to players ages 18 and older, providing aspiring professionals the opportunity to showcase their ability in front of the club’s technical leadership.
Loudoun United FC Sporting Director Alen Marcina, Head Coach Anthony Limbrick, Goalkeeper Coach Jack Stefanowski, Assistant Coach Dario Pot, and USL2 Head Coach Matthew Mountford will be in attendance, observing and evaluating talent throughout the session.
Top-performing players from the tryouts will be invited to train with Loudoun United FC’s first team, where they will have the opportunity to compete for a professional contract.

“These identification events are built on proven professional scouting models,” said Alen Marcina, Sporting Director for Loudoun United FC. “We assess players within real match scenarios to evaluate football intelligence, adaptability, and mentality. It is a transparent process designed to identify individuals capable of impacting the First Team environment.”
The club’s integrated structure between the USL Championship and USL2 programs provides a defined pathway for players who demonstrate the qualities required at the next level. Staff in attendance are directly involved in roster construction and player progression, ensuring performances are evaluated within the context of the club’s long term sporting strategy.
