Leesburg, VA (October 3, 2023) – Loudoun United FC has announced that on-site parking fees will be eliminated at home matches at Segra Field in 2024. The club is committed to enhancing the overall fan experience with the improvement of match day ingress.
“We are appreciative of the systems and vendors that have operated our parking setup for matches in the past,” said Doug Raftery, Loudoun United FC Executive Business Officer. “With increased attendance and a need for additional efficiency, we felt that now was the right time to make the change.”
There are many factors that contribute to a spectacular matchday experience. Loudoun United FC has pledged to understand these factors by conducting fan experience surveys after every event. The club estimates that in the past, it has taken 20 to 30 seconds per vehicle to complete a transaction, which at times has created a backup of vehicles onto Crosstrail Blvd. With no transactions occurring on-site in 2024, the goal is for ingress to be quicker and more effective. Loudoun United staff will direct fans to available parking upon arrival for a stress-free experience.
