The Riverhounds have been shutout in eleven matches this season, scoring a total of 19 goals through 20 matches. Both sides enter into the match looking for a win to help the push for playoffs.
Thoughts From the Team
Zach Ryan on the mindset for taking on Pittsburgh:
“Obviously we were all very disappointed with Wednesday’s result, but you really have not choice but to look forward and address the next challenge which is a Pittsburgh team, in form, at home. They’ve been very tough, scoring goals and allowing very few goals, so it’s going to be a very big challenge for us”
Ryan Martin on bouncing back and the second half of the season:
“You look at the video, you reflect, you learn and you grow. By the time we get to the end of the season we want to be sprinting and not crawling to the finish line, so it’s a constant journey for us right now. Wednesday was a great lesson learning and we are going to use it as a lesson and continue to progress.”
Tommy McCabe on :
“You reflect on [the loss] and then the beauty of it is that we have a quick turnaround and the only thing you can do is to be positive and move onto the next one. We have to take a look at the game, the positives and the negatives, and respond. We have to be hungry again to go get a win and want that feeling back.”
