Leesburg, VA. (November 26th, 2024) – Loudoun United FC announced today that the club has extended goalkeeper Dane Jacomen to a two-year contract through the 2026 season with an option year in 2027, pending league and federation approval.
Jacomen rejoins the Red-and-White following a 2024 season of three appearances and one clean sheet in the U.S. Open Cup.

The Pittsburgh native joined Loudoun United FC after forgoing his final year of eligibility at the University of Pennsylvania. The six-foot-three-inch goalkeeper originally signed with Loudoun United in January of 2022, eventually joining the squad in late May.
The goalkeeper made his Red-and-White debut on September 25, 2022, against Indy Eleven, recording two saves. Jacomen made his professional debut in a short-loan stint with Charlotte Independence in late June, recording seven saves in two matches for the USL League One club.
The D.C. United Academy product was awarded the 2021 USL League Two Golden Glove award while playing for West Chester United SC. Jacomen had an impressive run between the sticks in the 2021 League Two season only conceding five goals in 13 games played. In addition, the goalkeeper maintained a .41 goals-against average.
