
Loudoun United Football Club sign forward Christian Sorto to a 25-day contract.
Leesburg, VA (March 7th, 2025) – Loudoun United Football Club sign veteran forward Christian Sorto to a 25-day contract, pending league and federation approval.
Sorto (Legacy Number 31) re-joins the Red-and-White following time with USL Championship side Orange County SC, tallying 24 appearances and one goal. Sorto started his professional career with Loudoun United Football Club in its inaugural season back in 2019, where he recorded two goals and three assists in 18 starts between the 2019-2020 seasons. Sorto scored his first professional goal on his professional debut with the club against Atlanta United 2, less than three minutes after being subbed into the match.
Prior to Orange Country SC, the El Salvador forward spent time with Miami FC and Rio Grande Valley. In Miami, Sorto appeared in 61 matches across all competitions, scoring eight goals and providing three assists. In 2021 for Rio Grande Valley, he made 30 appearances, recording four goals and seven assists, helping the club advance to the Quarterfinals of the 2021 USL Championship Playoffs.
The 25-year-old made three appearances for the El Salvadorian National Team, two during the CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying in 2021 and the third in a friendly at Audi Field here in Washington, DC.
