Loudoun United Football Club Names Karl Sharman President
Leesburg, VA (August 26th, 2025) – Loudoun United FC is proud to announce that Karl Sharman has been appointed as President of the club. He will also serve as President of VA Revolution Soccer Club, strengthening the partnership between the two organizations and expanding opportunities for players and families throughout the region.
Sharman is a sports and talent management professional with experience in both football and venture capital. He most recently served as Head of Talent at Forgepoint Capital, where he focused on people management and scaling teams across startups. In football, Sharman held roles at English clubs including Chelsea FC, Southampton FC, and Crystal Palace FC, as well as Cambridge United, Brighton & Hove Albion, and AFC Wimbledon. He also serves on the Advisory Board for the DC Chapter of the US Soccer Foundation.
