
Loudoun United Football Club’s Hugo Fauroux, Florian Valot, and Ben Mines awarded USL Championship Team of the Week Honors for Week 27 win over El Paso Locomotive
Goalkeeper Hugo Fauroux earned his Team of the Week honors for his four-save performance, including a match-saving penalty kick save, against El Paso Locomotive this past weekend in the club’s 2-1 road win. Fauroux has now saved three of the five penalty kicks he has faced in regular-season play this season.
Florian Valot tallied one assist, three chances created, and one shot on target in the club’s victory over El Paso. Valot is now tied for the lead in assists in the USL Championship with eight thus far. Valot also sits in second place in the league for chances created this season (45).
Ben Mines scored the opening goal of the match in the second minute of play, off a diving header. Mines has contributed one goal and two assists in his last three league matches. This was Mine’s second goal in league play this season.
