Match Preview | Indy Eleven vs. Loudoun United FC
Leesburg, VA (October 17th, 2025) – Loudoun United Football Club hits the road to face Indy Eleven, looking to secure three crucial points in the race for a home playoff spot.
The Matchup
Loudoun United FC (12-10-6) currently sits in 4th place in the Eastern Conference with 42 points. After clinching a first-ever playoff spot in the USL Playoffs last weekend in Detroit, the Red-and-White are back on the road to take on Indy Eleven. Despite already clinching a spot in the 2025 USL Championship Playoffs, Loudoun United will look for more points as the race for hosting a home playoff match remains up in the air. Currently, with two match weeks remaining in the regular season, Loudoun, Hartford, North Carolina, and Pittsburgh are fighting over 3rd and 4th place in the East. On the other side, Indy Eleven sits in 9th place in the Eastern Conference, with a record of 9-14-5 and 32 points. Indy desperately needs three points in this matchup as they look to get above the playoff line with just two matches left (Loudoun at home and Orange County on the road) in the regular season. The Red-and-White hosted Indy at Segra Field back in August, defeating Indy Eleven 3-2 with a brace from Quimi Ordonez and a goal from Zach Ryan.
Loudoun United FC can clinch a home playoff spot if they take all three points against Indy AND North Carolina loses to Rhode Island AND Pittsburgh loses/draws at Monterey Bay.
Players to look out for on Loudoun United’s squad include the return of forwards Quimi Ordonez and Zach Ryan, who have a combined nine goals this season, as well as the club’s leading goal-scorer Abdellatif Aboukoura, who has 12 goals on the season. On the other side, Jack Blake leads Indy with 10 goals, followed by Romario Williams and Elvis Amoh with five goals apiece.
Notes
Forward Zach Ryan will return to the lineup following a one-match red card suspension that her served last weekend.
Forward Quimi Ordonez returns to the lineup following his call-up to the Guatemala National Team for the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers this past week.
Florian Valot (8) and Ben Mines (7) have a combined 15 assists in regular-season play.
