
Armenakas and Landry Earn USL Championship Team of the Week Honors in Week 7
Two Loudoun United players earned USL Championship Team of the Week honors for Week 7. Following an excellent performance, midfielder Panos Armenakas and midfielder Houssou Landry have been named to the USL Championship Team of the Week for Week 7 of the 2023 regular season.
Midfielder Panos Armenakas was pivotal in the Red-and-White’s victory against Oakland Roots SC, scoring the second goal for the side while notching two shots and two chances created overall and winning 8 of 13 duels and 2 of 3 tackles. The Australian finished in second place for Player of the Week honors.
Midfielder Houssou Landry put on a strong two-way performance completing 42 of 57 passes and winning 9 of 11 total duels and 5 of 5 tackles at Segra Field.
