
Aboukoura, Fauroux and Martin Awarded USL Championship Team of the Week Honors for Week 17.
Loudoun United’s Abdellatif Aboukoura, Hugo Fauroux and Head Coach Ryan Martin secured their spots on the USL Championship Team of the Week following their stand-out week 17 performances in a 2-0 victory over Tampa Bay Rowdies.
Aboukoura recorded his fourth goal of the season in the 15 minute, following up on a Florian Valot cross that was pushed into the middle of the box by the Rowdies goalkeeper.
Fauroux picked up his fifth clean sheet of the season, compiling an additional seven saves to keep him atop the Eastern Conference for the most saves to the point, with 49.
Head Coach Ryan Martin has led Loudoun to its best run of form in the club’s history, recording a 4-0-2 record, remaining undefeated in six matches and gathering 14 points.
The Red-and-White take to Segra at 7:15p.m ET on Wednesday, July 3 in a midweek matchup against Hartford Athletic.
