Leesburg, VA. (February 27, 2026) — Loudoun United FC has signed forward Marcos Dias to a two-year contract, pending league and federation approval.
Dias, 25, joins the Red-and-White after a standout four-year run with New England Revolution II in MLS NEXT Pro. Since arriving in 2022, he has totaled 33 goals and 19 assists, becoming the club’s all-time leader in both goals and assists. Following the 2025 season, Dias was named the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro Playmaker of the Year and earned selection to the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro Best XI.

Dias originally joined New England Revolution II in 2022 on loan from Vasco de Gama in Brazil, before making the move permanent ahead of the 2023 season. Over his time with Revolution II, Dias ranked among the league’s top chance creators.

A product of the Palmeiras youth system, Dias enjoyed early success at the academy level, helping the club win the 2018 U-17 Club World Cup and the 2019 U-20 Paulistão title. He later joined Vasco da Gama’s U-20 side, where he recorded 21 goals in 87 appearances and contributed to multiple youth trophies in 2020.
Dias has also earned first team experience with the New England Revolution, making his MLS debut on a short-term agreement in 2024, appearing as a late substitute against the Seattle Sounders.
