Leesburg, VA (April 21, 2026) — Loudoun United FC has signed midfielders Lily Stevens and Valentina Bitterwolf to its USL W team for the 2026 season, pending league and federation approval.
Stevens joins the club as one of the top young prospects in the Mid-Atlantic following her arrival at Coastal Carolina University. Stevens developed through FC Virginia Girls Academy, where she spent eight years and helped lead the program to four consecutive league titles from 2021 through 2024. Known for her presence in midfield and ability to cover ground, Stevens has earned national recognition, including being ranked among the top 150 players in her class by Prep Soccer and IMG Academy. She has also received call-ups to U.S. Soccer Talent ID camps at both the regional and national levels and was part of a U.S. Youth Futsal national championship team. Her experience in high-level environments and exposure to national team programming highlight her potential as she continues her development at both the collegiate and pre-professional levels.
“We are ecstatic to announce that Lily Stevens is joining our USL W League squad,” said Loudoun United USL W Head Coach, Christian Cziommer. “A homegrown talent with a massive presence in the Mid-Atlantic soccer scene, Lily brings a championship mentality and high-level technical skill to our midfield.”

Her ability to create chances and influence the game in the final third earned her American Athletic Conference All-Freshman Team honors, along with a spot on the All-Conference Third Team. Prior to her time at Temple, Bitterwolf developed in one of Germany’s top youth systems with TSG Hoffenheim, where she gained experience with both the U-20 and second team squads, appearing in 18 matches and scoring twice.
