
Leesburg, VA (May 18, 2026) — Loudoun United FC has signed goalkeeper Hannah Wilt to its USL W Team for the 2026 season, pending league and federation approval.
Wilt joins Loudoun United from USC Upstate, after transferring from Shepard University in January. During the 2025 season, Wilt appeared and started in 19 matches, recording 49 saves with a .790 save percentage across 1,703 minutes. She posted eight shutouts that season and became Shepherd’s all-time leader in career shutouts with 19. Wilt also earned CSC Academic All-District honors and was named PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week in October. In 2024, Wilt started all 24 matches for Shepherd and recorded 75 saves with a .806 save percentage. She set a Shepherd single-season record with 11 shutouts and earned several honors, including United Soccer Coaches All-American First Team, United Soccer Coaches All-Atlantic Region First Team, CSC Academic All-District, PSAC East Freshman of the Year and All-PSAC East Second Team. Wilt was also named Shepherd University Female Newcomer of the Year for the 2024-25 season and earned PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week honors three times. Prior to her collegiate career, Wilt graduated from Calvert High School in 2023, where she lettered in soccer and basketball. She recorded 130 saves, 20 shutouts and a 0.633 goals against average during her high school career. Wilt also competed at the club level with Maryland United FC ECNL U-18 Girls and Calvert Soccer Association.
