Leesburg, VA (August 14, 2026) — Loudoun United FC announce that the club and midfielder Andrés Souper have mutually agreed to terminate his contract.
“Andrés is a very talented player, a fantastic professional, and an outstanding person,” said Alen Marcina, Sporting Director for Loudoun United FC. “We fully support his decision to prioritize his family and return to Chile, and we are grateful for everything he has contributed to Loudoun United. We wish Andrés and his family nothing but the best moving forward.”
Souper joined Loudoun United ahead of the 2026 season after spending the majority of his professional career in Chile. The midfielder made 11 USL Championship appearances for the Red-and-White, including five starts, during his time with the club. Souper also scored Loudoun’s first goal of the 2026 preseason in the club’s opening friendly against Philadelphia Union II.
Thank you, Andrés. You will always be a part of the Red-and-White family.
