Leesburg, VA (September 18, 2026) — Loudoun United FC announce that defender Ezra Armstrong has suffered a season-ending foot injury during a training session.
“This season has been a season of patience for me,” said Ezra Armstrong. “I have a great support system and rehab team helping keep me ahead of schedule, so I’m taking it day by day, focusing on coming back 100 percent, and being ready to contribute to the squad.”
Armstrong joined Loudoun United ahead of the 2026 season and featured with the club during preseason preparations.
“Our priority is supporting Ezra through his recovery and helping him come back stronger,” said Alen Marcina, Sporting Director for Loudoun United FC. “As a former USL All-League player, he has already demonstrated the level he is capable of, and we are confident he can return to that level and push beyond it.”
