Leesburg, VA (October 1, 2026) — Loudoun United FC returns to Segra Field this Saturday to take on Indy Eleven following three consecutive matches on the road. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. ET as the Red-and-White look to build on a dominant road victory and secure another three points in front of the home crowd.
The Matchup
Loudoun enters Saturday’s match following a commanding 4-1 victory over Sporting JAX at Hodges Stadium. The Red-and-White opened the scoring in the fourth minute through Eddy Davis III before Jacksonville responded to send the match into halftime level at 1-1. Loudoun took control after the break, with Christian Torres scoring twice in a two-minute span before Davis III completed his brace in the 73rd minute to seal all three points.
Indy Eleven comes into Saturday’s match following a 1-0 road loss against Rhode Island FC on Wednesday night. Indy scored their lone goal of the match in the first half, while continuing to create opportunities but was unable to find an equalizer. The result marked Indy’s third consecutive defeat, also falling to Oakland Roots SC and Miami FC in their previous two matches.
Saturday will mark the second meeting between Loudoun and Indy this season. The Red-and-White earned a 1-0 road victory at Michael A. Carroll Stadium on July 25, with Abdellatif Aboukoura finding the back of the net to secure all three points.
After closing out their road stretch with four goals in Jacksonville, Loudoun will look to carry that attacking momentum back to Segra Field. With the regular season entering its final stretch, the Red-and-White will look to start quickly, create opportunities in the final third and capitalize on another chance to earn three points at home.
Thoughts from the Club
Anthony Limbrick on building off recent results and facing Indy Eleven:
“Yeah, it was a big win for us last time we played Indy Eleven because they had won 10 games at home out of 11, with one draw. They were unbeaten in 11 games at home when we turned up and were able to win that game 1-0. It was a really battling performance and a very physical game. They put the ball in the box a lot and put us under a lot of pressure, but we defended extremely well. I think that does give us confidence. I think the win last week, a really good 4-1 win, gives us confidence as well in terms of goal scoring and getting a win that we deserved over the line. We had been playing well for the last three or four weeks before that but just hadn’t been able to get the results. It was nice for the players to get something they deserved with that win, and hopefully that will give us good confidence going into the weekend.”
Notes
Bolu Akinyode is three appearances away from reaching 300 career appearances across all USL competitions.
Abdellatif Aboukoura is one goal away from tying Zach Ryan for the most all-time goals in Loudoun United FC history across all competitions.
Abdellatif Aboukoura’s next goal will set the USL Championship record for the most goals scored by a player under 22 in league history.
