Leesburg, VA (April 17, 2026) — Loudoun United FC has signed midfielders Kosette Koons-Perdikis and Rachel Chung to its USL W team for the 2026 season, pending league and federation approval.
Koons-Perdikis joins the club following her freshman season at Duke University, where she was part of a program that advanced to the NCAA College Cup and posted a 17-5-1 record. She made her collegiate debut in a 9-0 victory over VMI, logging 45 minutes in her first appearance. Prior to Duke, Koons-Perdikis built an impressive resume at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School, where she was a four-year starter and three-time team captain. As a senior, she led her side to an undefeated season and its first ISL Championship since 2005, earning Team MVP honors along the way. She was named a 2024 High School All-American, Washington Post All-Met selection, and a three-time All-ISL honoree. At the club level, Koons-Perdikis competed for Bethesda SC ECNL and Virginia Union FC ECNL (McLean), helping lead her teams to four consecutive ECNL Champions League appearances from 2021 to 2024 and three Mid-Atlantic Conference titles. She also earned United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-American honors and had the opportunity to train with OL Lyonnes in France.
“Adding Kosette to our group is really exciting for us,” said Loudoun United USL W Head Coach, Christian Cziommer. “She’s a dynamic midfielder with a great understanding of the game. What stands out is her ability to impact matches in different ways, whether that’s creating chances or controlling the tempo. She comes from a highly competitive background and brings a winning mentality that will elevate the group.”

She was the leading goal scorer in the state playoffs during both championship runs. Chung also earned recognition from TopDrawerSoccer as a standout player and was ranked among the top midfielders nationally, including a spot in the IMG Top 150. At the club level, Chung played for Virginia Union FC ECNL, where she helped guide her team to multiple Mid-Atlantic Conference championships while consistently competing on the national stage.
